Amara Bangkok Hotel ★★★★

Very comfortable beds, after a long flight it was super cozy to sleep in. The breakfast buffet also had everything we needed. The location is 10 min walk from Mahanakhon skywalk.

The gym is so small, not enough chairs for sunbathing at the rooftop pool.

The hotel is super comfortable and clean, with everything you need on hand. Excellent breakfast selection and rooftop pool with a superb view. We also booked a tour to railway and floating markets through the hotel and everything was perfect :)

Not a really nice food in the restaurant for a quite high price.

Spacious, clean rooms with a large bathroom and shower and all facilities such as ironing accessories and bathrobes. The bonus is a beautiful view of the city (we asked for a higher floor and the request was granted). I was delighted with the solution with an electrical socket inside the safe, which allows you to charge electronics when you are not in the room. The infinity pool at altitude delights with its view, especially in the morning, when it is not crowded.

Very friendly staff, rooms super clean and room service very quick. We also had an issue with the light and the technician came right away and fixed it. The rooftop with the pool has an amazing view on the city and if you would like to have a pool just to yourself, I suggest to go there early at the sunrise - to enjoy the peace and quiet of the dynamic city

Room service menu says until 11:30pm however when called at 11pm, they said they were already closed. Maybe best to change the time so there’s less confusion. Couldn’t pair TV to my phone :(

Room was clean and cozy with a nice view. The bed was super comfortable and I really enjoyed the breakfast as well. But the best thing is the staff. They are the friendliest and the most helpful people ever! They really made my stay! :-)

Beautiful, super clean hotel with amazing and friendly staff who are so helpful. The rooftop infinity pool is a gem. I always come back to Amara Hotel and I will continue to book here in the future.

The rooftop view is perfect to catch Bangkok skyline. Spacious swimming pool and accommodating staff are on point. Highly recommended.

The hotel is modern, clean and matches what you would expect from a 4-star rating hotel. Rooms are of comfortable size, everything is clean and working fine, there are no smells or signs of wear. Furniture is new, bathroom is decent and spacious. Shower amenities could be better though, we ended up buying our own in 7-eleven. There were enough of tea-making amenities (which I didn't notice until it was time to check out sadly, stupid me - if you cannot find them either - just look in a drawer above the mini bar). Kinda confusing lighting system, what light switches actually do doesn't match what's written on them so we ended up just trying every one of them to find out, but that's a minor inconvenience. Upper storey rooms have a great city view. TV has no internet capabilities or we just were doing something wrong. WiFi in the room was good enough, there's a dedicated router in the room and a LAN connection available as well. The internet connection itself was fast and reliable. Infinity pool on the roof has a great 270 degree view around and is big enough. We were unlucky with the weather so the pool was kinda cool but it's not the hotel's fault :) Staff was very attentive and helpful, would be even good enough for a 5-star hotel. If a hotel representative will read this review please forward my thanks to the staff! Location is decent, there are couple of restaurants and 7-elevens nearby, it's a 10-minute walk from both BTS and MRT station; there are 2 large shopping malls near the MRT station with plenty of food and shopping options. Main tourist attractions in Bangkok are just 10-15 minutes away on MRT/BTS. Many foreign embassies are located nearby, Russian embassy is just behind a corner. Overall good value for money, would stay again :)

A bit far from the MRT/BTS but still walking distance and I knew it before the booking so can't complain :) Other than that can't really say anything negative about the hotel, we've enjoyed our stay.
